MODERNIZE OUR HALL FLOOR CAMPAIGN                 <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fundraising Goal:  $35,000.00 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Launch Date: October 1, 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you <\/strong>for your interest in our \u201cModernize our Hall Floor Campaign\u201d.  We are asking for your help to make a special contribution to our Love Your Lodge fund specifically for replacing our 1980\u2019s Hall and Bar flooring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why do we need a fundraiser<\/strong>?  We must rent Nordahl Hall to support the costs of running a building \u2013 insurance, utilities, supplies, roof repairs, property management costs, and maintenance.  Our current annual rental income does not fully cover these costs, so we are unable to save money for capital improvements such as floor replacements or other major improvements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Why is rental income lower than we need?  <\/strong>We have feedback from our event planner and other potential renters that our building looks tired and out of date. Clients who plan a wedding, fancy party, or catered dinner want their professional photos to be stunning.  Our floor detracts from those photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are we doing to improve the Hall?   <\/strong>The Nordahl Hall Board has embarked on a plan to improve the look of our interior and exterior space in order to attract more renters to increase our income. Here is what we have done to improve our space this year with donations, and with many volunteers\u2019 hard work:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • women\u2019s and men\u2019s bathroom improvements were completed in September, 2025,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • the foyer interior doors and trim were painted in August to lighten that area,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • replaced the foyer tile and painted with a contemporary style and a lighter color,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • earlier this Spring, the parking lot walls and rear storage containers were freshly painted,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • in May, we planted a new garden including paver stones, and installed a new irrigation system,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • replaced bar baseboards, and installed a new bar plumbing system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    We are VERY SERIOUS about upgrading Nordahl Hall!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
