Fellow Officers:

As you know, several times in my service as Lodge President, I have remarked that the “buck stops here”, here meaning “with me”.

I have recently been presented with the opportunity to put that into practice.

To that end, I am convening a Zoom meeting of all available Lodge Officers, to be held As Soon As Possible.

The agenda will contain the following:

1). Proper procedures for disbursement of Lodge funds collected at in-person events, in accordance with the Laws, Rules, and Customs of the Order,

2). The recent Lodge Social Event and how the handling of collected funds deviated from these procedures,

And

3). Education for Officers and Lodge members about the proper handling of collected funds, with the goal of preventing further mishandling and upholding our fiduciary duties to the Lodge.
